Plans & Features

This page provides a detailed breakdown of features and limits for each NightOps plan.

Resource Limits

Cloud Providers

PlanLimit
Free2 provider accounts
ProUnlimited
EnterpriseUnlimited

A provider account is a single connection to AWS, GCP, or Azure. You can connect multiple accounts from the same cloud platform.

Team Members

PlanLimit
Free3 users
ProUnlimited (billed per user)
EnterpriseUnlimited

All team members count toward the limit, regardless of their role (Owner, Admin, or Member).

Collections

PlanLimit
Free5 collections
ProUnlimited
EnterpriseUnlimited

Collections are groups of related assets. The limit includes all collections, including those with no assigned schedule.

Schedules

PlanLimit
Free5 schedules
ProUnlimited
EnterpriseUnlimited

A schedule defines when resources should start and stop. Each collection can have one schedule.

Assets

PlanLimit
FreeUnlimited
ProUnlimited
EnterpriseUnlimited

Assets (EC2 instances, RDS databases, etc.) are not limited on any plan.

Schedule Configuration

Minimum Interval

The minimum interval is the shortest time between a schedule's start and stop times.

PlanMinimum Interval
Free2 hours
Pro15 minutes
Enterprise5 minutes

Example: On the Free plan, if your schedule starts at 9:00 AM, the stop time must be at least 11:00 AM.

This limit prevents accidental rapid cycling of resources, which could cause service disruptions.

Audit & Compliance

Audit Log Retention

PlanRetention
Free7 days

Enterprise365 days

Audit logs record all actions in NightOps: who started/stopped what, schedule executions, configuration changes, and more.

Logs older than the retention period are automatically deleted.
